That's exactly the feeling you get when you see and hear Pee Wee, who recently signed with MTV for his first television series, Bust A Ritmo. Extroverted and full of ideas, Pee Wee delivers a potent, positive vibe full of bilingual wordplay, fun, and drama.
Pee Wee has been working diligently on a new stage of his career and with MTV has found part of the right team to start turning his dreams into reality.
Born in Washington, raised in Texas and of deep Mexican roots, Pee Wee is still in his teens but is already a road-tested veteran of two successful groups: Kumbia Kings and Kumbia All Starz. Pee Wee was the lead singer for the biggest hits for both bands. For Kumbia Kings, he charted "Sabes a Chocolate" and "Dulce Niña," both of which landed on Billboard's Latin Pop Airplay Top 10. For Kumbia All Starz, he internationally placed "Chiquilla" and "Speedy Gonzalez" as the major hits that propelled the album to Platinum status in the US and internationally. With his charisma and energy it was inevitable that a solo career was to emerge sooner rather than later.
Shuttling between New York, L.A., and Miami, Pee Wee is enjoying putting the finishing touches to a new phase of his career that's sure to surprise and delight fans all over the world.
